Nihan Icmeli’s journey in education began in 2008 at Enka Schools in Turkey, where she provided one-on-one support to a child with Williams syndrome. This experience ignited her passion for helping children with diverse needs, and from 2009 to 2016, she dedicated herself to fostering the academic and social development of students with Asperger syndrome and learning disabilities. During these formative years, Nihan pursued professional growth by completing a certificate program in early education for children aged 6 to 12 and participating in various seminars focused on teaching gifted children and understanding the dynamics of new generations.
In pursuit of broader opportunities, Nihan moved to Canada, where she earned her Early Childhood Education diploma from CDI College. Over the next six years in Montreal, she honed her teaching skills and gained invaluable experience in the classroom. In 2022, she furthered her education by completing a Cégep Program Educatif certificate, followed by finishing the “Early Childhood Development: Global Strategies for Implementation” program at HarvardX Business School.
Her commitment to professional development continued in 2024, when she completed Daycare Owner Training at IAP Career College and the “Autism and Neurodiversity: Build Your Child’s Strengths” training from Curtin University. Throughout her teaching career, Nihan has designed numerous programs tailored for children, and in the last two years, she has gained significant insights into daycare management.
Nihan’s dedication lies in uncovering the unique potential in every child, and she strives to create a meaningful and lasting impact in their lives. Her journey is driven by a deep belief in the transformative power of education and support, aiming to inspire every child she encounters.
